The Pennsylvania Juvenile Delinquency Data Analysis Tool was developed to facilitate independent analysis of annual dispositions reported to the Juvenile Court Judges' Commission (JCJC) by counties throughout the Commonwealth. With this application, users can perform unique analyses on the age, gender, and race of juveniles involved in these cases as well as the alleged and substantiated offense, legal representation, the use of detention, adjudication, case disposition, and placement type.

Use the Analyze Initial Dispositions tab to perform custom analyses of outcomes of initial case dispositions in JCJC's juvenile delinquency disposition database.

Use the Analyze Reviews of Dispositions tab to perform custom analyses of outcomes of disposition and placement reviews in JCJC's juvenile delinquency disposition database.

Use the Analyze Allegations tab to perform custom analyses of initial outcomes of allegations in JCJC’s juvenile delinquency database.

Use the Canned Reports tab to view county-level summary tables of initial dispositions by various demographic (e.g., age, race, and school status), and case processing characteristics (e.g., disposition, type placement, and legal representation).

The juvenile delinquency data presented here is provided to the Juvenile Court Judges' Commission (JCJC) by county juvenile probation departments.

Please note that the data generated by this application may not match the data in the JCJC annual disposition reports posted on the JCJC website (see the Methods section).

With the exception of nine counties, data is available beginning in 2005. The nine counties and the first year in which complete data are available are:
